Interior Landscape
The Interior Landscape series depicts famous places and sites in cities without their exterior images. Two photos of the left in the triptych are views from the place and of its inside or its underneath. The size of each part in the triptych is 14 x 11 in. (or 35.6 x 28 cm) in a frame, except for part of the painting.

The Statue of Liberty-March 11 2016

2016, inkjet print photograph on paper (left), white color pencil on black-paper on black-paper (center), and acrylic on linen (right), 36 x 84 cm (or 14 x 33 in.)

The center in the triptych is the handwritten excerpt about the Liberty from pp. 258 of Open City by Teju Cole. I rearranged some words. I photographed two images associated with the site and made the original drawing for Equivocal Landscape in the sketchbook on the same day (March 11, 2016), on which the painting is based.
